TERRIBLE! On the remote I tried to use through the app, I couldn't control the volume. On this particular remote, the volume keys are on the right side of the remote, VS the face of the remote. Also, I paid an extra $2.99 for the IR, and it STILL WON'T WORK. I am very familiar with this TV, and Google helped a wee bit. Don't waste your time, just order another remote from Amazon. I purchased a 2 pack for $11.77 and it was at my door within 8 hours.

Works perfectly. App on phone connects to TCL tv automatically without having to find your actual remote, only requires you to enter the code that pops up on your TV into the app on your phone. Easy! Update: When TV is off, it is mandatory to either manually turn it on or with it's remote control. Otherwise, a message comes up stating it cannot find your TV.

What's new
This release enables the remotes without Infrared support, by using wifi/network to connect to TV. Make sure your TV is switched on, and is connected to the same network and app will auto-detect and connect to the TV.
